Re: Arctic Cat Zr 700 Mountain Turbo. Hi! Now i have put the sled together again, me and my girlfriend was in the garage for about 4 hours. And from tunnel and bulk, to this: But still, I have loots more to do like: Fix the hood Mounta the suspension in the front Shortend the seat (about 20 cm) Clean everything Gas/brake handles Put the engine in and of course, fix the rest of the turbo instalation.. werry well, what do you think?
Re: Arctic Cat Zr 700 Mountain Turbo. Looks cool. And leave that hood like it is now! Lotta more respect!
Re: Arctic Cat Zr 700 Mountain Turbo. Seats colours is really cool 8) I also thing that leave the hood like it is now
Re: Arctic Cat Zr 700 Mountain Turbo. I recommend you to paint the hood, much more cooler at white! Going to be very interesting sled when ready, respect ;D What kind of tail lights you've been thinking of?
Re: Arctic Cat Zr 700 Mountain Turbo. A little tip for that seat: Move that steering post into forward position. This gives you room for moving the seat/tank combo about 13cm forward. I just that into my project. Too shame I don't have any pics of my mod... This sled looks great
Re: Arctic Cat Zr 700 Mountain Turbo. Fiiberi: thank you!=) antiboy : no way the hood looks crap, it just doesent fit to the rest of the sled... Zr440 : tackar Hansanen: haha, thanx akkki: yes, the hood is going to be white, and as tail lights i thought about some leds. Bearcat-97: Yes, i have had the steering post in the forward position (on i dont know how many sleds), but when i put the new engine in, the carbs ant pressuare chamber to the turbo doesent fit with the steering post in the forward position. So i have to have in as it is... 4 now, mabye next winter i have figured that out also. But as i sad, i will cut off about 20cm of the seat (in the front of it ofcourse), so that i well get at newer/cooler look... (and also so my buddies cant beg 4 a rid)
Re: Arctic Cat Zr 700 Mountain Turbo. Just do the right thing and reroute that steeringpost over the engine. That´ll give you some room and handling to die for. Here´s what I did to the 2000 Snopro 440 few years back:
Re: Arctic Cat Zr 700 Mountain Turbo. hehe, yes mabye, in some other version of the sled. But right now i feel that i gots my hands foll for this winter. With the tubro, hood, engine and suspension=) But mabye... mabye edit: wtf.... what is it i see, is that a bombard engine? inside a cat ??? :'(
Re: Arctic Cat Zr 700 Mountain Turbo. For a newer cat-look you have to cut the back of the seat, check out the M-series But still it might be, like you said, cooler if you cut it from the front. : hmmm. who would photoshop it? :
Re: Arctic Cat Zr 700 Mountain Turbo. But, how does it fit with the tank then? I guess that you may have some proplems if you'r gonna cut from the front. By the way: Looks pretty damn good as white... Or something like that. You know what i mean!;D
Re: Arctic Cat Zr 700 Mountain Turbo. akkki: yes mabye, but i dont like the look of the "newest" seats, i like the "00-03" seats more, the new m seats look kinda "boss", and i... well, cinda hate that look=P PeeÄm: done it before, no problems there att all, its a litle work, but it aint that hard actually=) Thanx=) Frosty: :'( :
